The Kentucky Watercolor Society is proud to present AquaVenture 2020, a juried exhibit of 39 paintings featuring water-based media by local and regional artists. We are pleased to have the show in the the lovely historic LexArts Gallery in Lexington, Kentucky this year.
The private opening and award reception for artists, donors, and invitees on March 11, 2020 was well attended and everyone enjoyed seeing the art, greeting the artists and eating the delicious hor d’oeuvres.
The show runs from March 12 through April 24, 2020. The LexArts Gallery address is 161 N. Mill St. Lexington, KY 40507. The gallery hours are usually 10:00am-5:00 pm Monday through Friday and 12:00-5:00 pm on Saturday. However, the gallery is now temporarily closed to the public until further notice due to the COVID-19 virus. The gallery phone number is 859-255-2951.

Paint by Nature is back! Once again, we are partnering with Arts Connect to produce an Artist's Showcase Exhibition
Over 60 local artists will spend the day painting cityscapes within a defined area of downtown Lexington.
Their works will be hung later in the afternoon and celebrated with an Opening Exhibition and Reception that evening.
Come and enjoy drinks and refreshments while admiring the many varied artworks, all of which will be for sale.
